I'll be seeing you all at this show! I'll be bringing some friends with me, too.

Re: Any hints as to a holiday show

I'm hoping for a Holiday show too, Levy. Preferably not during Finals Week again. If they feel the need to break my heart and book during finals, I'd just ask that they please not book one of my favorite bands to open. I was absolutely gutted last year to miss the Figgs and Soul Asylum.

It's hard to believe it's been that long. I miss seeing him play. He made bass look like the easiest thing in the world.

Re: Dave is a character in Buried Prey

$20 says I still wind up reading this new one, despite having an uber-low opinion of the series.

I think that for most shows they get paid over $9000. I've heard rumors that Dave also likes Mudkips.

Re: What was the first Soul Asylum album you listened to?

I'm one of those "Runaway Train" people. I was young... preteen/teen... I can't even remember. Got GDU, then I started collecting all the rest. I remember getting ticked off at Beast Buy because they didn't have one album or another and I couldn't figure out any other way to get it... I was so young...

Re: Soul Asylum is respected in the 80's Hair Metal community!

I know it may be uncommon to love both Soul Asylum and Poison, but I do! I regularly make jokes about hair bands. But today, on the way to dinner, "Talk Dirty to Me" came on the radio. Maybe it's because of that Scrubs episode, maybe it's old age, but.... damn, that song's a pretty good song. It's ...
