I agree it was a good show, but what was up with Dave's guitar? I enjoyed the usual variety of tunes, but no Oxygen again?! What's up with that?!

First of all, Fastball is nothing like Soul Asylum. I would not even put the two in the same sentence.

Being a fan of both bands, and having met both bands (minus either of the old-school drummers in SA or Steve Clark in DL), I think both bands can be appreciated as people and as musicians. As far as I can find out, he is still in GNR. Then again, is there really a GNR? Axl has been in hiding, and most of the "guns for hire" are out doing other things.

My wife and I will be at this show. I have never seen a show at this venue before, and I know it's general admission. What time are doors, etc? I see Bellevue Suite, or whatever, is opening. I hope the setlist is a bit different from the show this past Saturday in Chicago.
