I could be wrong but I'm sure Dave, Dan and Michael have invested well over the years. I don't think anyone is hurting to pay bills or needing to get a day job past their extra musical things that they do. I mean...it's not like Dan & Dave have spent it on stage clothes over the years. I've been si...

Definitely "All is Well" since it perks me up instantly no matter what mood I'm in. I also love "Whatcha Need" and "Good for You" (although I thtink I'm in the minority with Good for You. I skip "Standing Water" almost every time.

38, with a 5 year old son that keeps me young. Besides, I'm still younger than Dave and Danny, so I can't be that old!

SA mention in Star Tribune

Last week the Star Tribune did a day in the life of First Avenue. Yesterday they followed it up with people who wrote in about their all time favorite shows at First Ave. Here's one of em... "I have seen many great shows, but the best band I have ever seen there is Soul Asylum. For a plethora of rea...

Video on Java Jack's page

There's a great clip of Danny with Smog playing at Java Jack's (Mpls coffeehouse that hosts a hootenanny of local musicians every Friday night). This hoot happened 3 or 4 weeks before I moved here this past June. A thorn in my side to this day. Hopefully Smog will play the hoot again soon! Check it ...

excellent show, but I've been beat with the reviews so will not add too much for that. Opening bands were really nice, the Tim O'Reagan set (first time playing solo) was just memorizing! "Life's Little Ups and Downs"? Truly fantastic!! For me, that was the first time seeing Janey and Marc with an a...

Last night's show was AMAZING! That was the first time I had been to The Cabooze - what a cool place. Even though there were a lot of people, I could always make my way back up to the front of the stage without pushing. Black Star and Artifical Heart were great, but the song of the night for me was ...

It was great seeing some Illinois (my former home before I moved to MPLS this past summer) people at the show - Jim, Scott and Traci! Wish I could have met more of you from this site. Oh well, there's always next week! So who's going to see Dave & co. at The Cabooze next week?
