Re: Song title

Its a cover of a wyclef jean (of the fugees) song. ("Ill be gone til' November")... While you can download the original on i-tunes, i don't think soul asylum has ever recorded the song, so you would have to find a bootleg to get the SA version

Hitless Wonder - A good read

A very well written book about being in a band, being on the road, etc. Soul Asylum is mentioned in the book...

Re: 2013 Articles and Interviews

interesting discussion on Candy.....it is nice to see them throw laughing back in the set list. Even though not on the actual album, I remember when they use to play candy from a stranger at almost every show.....great song that should be polished up again.

GDU

After listening to delayed reaction for 2 weeks str8 and then reading the comparisons to silver lining, i was somehow inspired to re-listen to GDU, which i haven't done in at least 1/2 dozen years. The cd that opened my eyes to soul asylum is still brilliant almost 20 years later, and really doesn't...

Re: 2012 July 20th - First Avenue, Minneapolis, MN

great show! they opened with your generation cover, and from what I recall they played every delayed reaction track except bed, kill and cruel they played some good old stuff as well: little to clean, marionette, closer to the stars, when I ran off and left her, I did my best, stand up and be strong...

Re: Delayed Reaction Forum User Reviews

overall I really dig the new album, though there are a couple of tracks that i do not care for (the two soul asylum covers "bed" and "by the way" Favorite track by far is the streets, already one of my favorite SA songs of all time. Second favorite (and not a popular choice on this site) is lets all...
