Re: What is the first record you ever bought?
I think that the first cassette I ever bought was probably a Tour of Duty (that tv show about the Vietnam war) compilation with all those 60's and 70's songs. And after that it was Grave Dancers Union. I didn't buy it on CD because I didn't have my own cd player yet and I didn't want to only get the...

Re: What is your favorite song on While You Were Out?
I think this is a favourite for some people, but for some reason this has been the only SA album that I never really got into. I don't know why... because it's not a bad album, but sometimes you just don't get into an album for whatever reason it may be, I guess. I voted for Carry On.

Re: The Essential Soul Asylum
I hope the international fans aren't gettting the wrong idea about Americans. I didn't mean anything like that with my post. If anything I envy you guys for having the opportunity to see them. I think the last time they played in Holland (where I live) was in 1995 and I really wanted to go, but I w...

Re: The Essential Soul Asylum
Ah, seeing Soul Asylum live... I think that will remain a pipe-dream for most European fans. Unless I would go to America to see them, but that's not in my financial plan right now... or anytime soon for that matter.
Edit: oh, and of course for the fans in the rest of the world.

I believe I posted this link before once or twice. It explains some stuff about his departure.

Re: What is your favorite song on Candy From A Stranger?
This one is special to me because it kind of re-established my passion for the band. After Let Your Dim Light Shine I got less interested in them, so when I bought Candy it wasn't such a big thing for me as when I bought LYDLS. But then after listening to it, I realized again how special this band i...
