Re: Article about Tommy Stinson's April 2012 Tour
MY apologies for turning this into a GNR sucks thread but I think even Kurt Cobain once said that "it is very sad that Guns And Roses are the biggest band on the planet because they are absolute shit." Something along those lines anyway and I was like "you know what Kurt you have a point." Using tha...

Re: Article about Tommy Stinson's April 2012 Tour
Yeah I saw it toward the end, they say he is also a member of Soul Asylum, like just for your information not that it matters or anything. The entire article was about splitting his time with Guns and Roses, I mean in all seriousness, screw Guns and Roses they are one of the most overrated bands eve...

Re: Article about Tommy Stinson's April 2012 Tour
Cool information and all but the thing that kills me is no mention of him being in Soul Asylum and a whole lot of talk about Guns N Roses. I just dont think GNR are that good or half the band that Soul Asylum is really and when SA is ignored while GNR is praised, it irks me more than just a little.

Re: Delayed Reaction Preview Stream!
I can't really say a lot about 30 seconds previews, let alone pick favourites already... but it does sound that there aren't many songs with raw edges on it... Of course they haven't had many of them since the late 80's/ early 90's, but the Silver Lining at least had Bus Named Desire and Slowly Ris...

Then GDU must be a "live album." This is the tracklisting for that CD. There are two live songs on there, neither of which is By the Way. http://enterthesoulasylum.com/discography/singles/runaway_train/ Should Have Stayed in Bed was officially released as a live recording, perhaps you were thinking...
Well I have a live version on the Runaway Train single but didn't know that an actual "studio" version existed. Either way its gonna be new to me especially if its reworked.
That is the studio version.
To me its a "live version" but it doesn't matter, its a fantastic song re...

Re: New Album "Delayed Reaction" out July 17th, 2012
Wow, well Im excited for the new record. I dont really understand all the people who feel let down. I love By The Way and am anxious to hear a studio version. The Streets pumped me up big time the first time I heard it and Into The Light and Gravity are pretty darn good songs as well. Im not crazy a...

Yep, Gin Blossoms, Everclear, Cracker, and John Popper of Blues Traveler have all released records on 429. Good news indeed.
