On the other hand, maybe Soul Asylum was the only band worth mentioning. I couldn't name half those guys, let alone their bands. Also, when I saw Zooey Deschanel, I thought it was Katy Perry.

She only made the list once? Because I think Winona has dated almost every singer from every band in the 90's...

I think Dave was a longer term boyfriend than some of the other rockers.

That said, I recently listed for my sisters all the names of the rockers I could remember that were linked to Winona. They were surprised at the number of names.

I heard she use to go for the musicans, but i dont know who else besides Dave...funny i just went to the movie The Dilemma with her in it, and she hooks up with a rocker, I dont know why but the first thing I though of was Dave LOL

Thanks for the link, I'd never seen that pic before. I'd forgotten just how long ago it was that Dave had cut off his long hair. Right around the time of the Dim Light tour, I think?

I always liked Dave & Winonna as a couple. I wish they'd have been given a bit of peace to be a couple at the time, instead of being picked on as the sacrificial rocker/actress pair to torture.

Yeah, Winonna's dated a fair number of musicians, but I don't blame the chick at all; Musicians have a special appeal. I tend to think the poor girl's relationships have all been doomed to short lifespans due to the attention she gets for each one.

yeah i haven't heard of about 1/3 of the 'rockers' in the list. not that i'm the 'average' person, i'm sure i know less than average about who's who in music. (and as my husband just told me it's because i'm OLD {30} that i don't know who these people are (he didn't know 1/3 either as he's OLD as well!)

Seriously Dave looks so bored. Winona has since showed her true colors. As I've said before and I'll say it again, Dave is WAY to good for that train wreck. I know they are still supposedly friends but I don't believe it.
