Soul Asylum Rediscover Their Punk Roots

A potential second recording of punk covers may be coming our way from our very favorite band.

Well that's certainly interesting. I hope it pans out sooner or later.

Wow, we may actually get two Soul Asylum albums in the foreseeable future!

" Murphy admits it's still up in the air as to how these covers will be issued. "To me, it seems like they're completely another thing to release somehow, whether we release it on our website, Myspace or any of that stuff. We definitely want it to get out there, we want people to hear it. It's a total mixed bag." "

Sounds interesting and fun. I'd like to hear their take on these songs.

I saw a YouTube clip of them doing shakin' street live that sounded quite good. This will be interesting to hear.

Hum. I thought it might be an April fools joke. If not then let's hope it get's to cd and not just myspace etc where all I'll have is low quality rips. Even better make it a bonus cd on tDelayed Reaction. Nice.
