I think with Dave's appeal, the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. But the parts ain't bad, either. For me, I'd say (in order of importance) it's his lyrics-writing brain first and foremost, then his voice, his warped sense of humor, the way he moves, his hips, his hair, his boyish charisma, his jeans, his . . ., and he has a cute smile. ;)

Oh, and I just saw a video of him singing with his son. He is very sweet and loving with his son. That just adds a whole new layer of sexiness.

Any one element is good, but the whole is definitely greater than the sum of its parts.
I like his eyes too.

An old photo of Dave with little Elijah. It´s very sweet!

Sonia, thanks for posting the picture. It is a sweet picture. Eli is so little!

Can't believe I forgot to mention his eyes in that great big long list.

Yes, his eyes are great. Have you noticed that in the videos Dave's eyes sometimes look blue and sometimes look brown. It wasn't until I saw him live that I could confirm that they are actually blue.

Tweedly Dee, you're right about his eyes. The best part is how expressive his eyes are. (sigh!)

In the video "Runaway Train" the eyes are clearly blue (in the minute 3.42 of this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NNre5neZ6QI). I never saw his eyes as brown.

I never saw him live, but he seems very tall. Is true?

He's fairly tall. (Then again, I'm fairly short. ;) )

I think it's the Black Gold video (and at least one other video, but I can't remember which one) where his eyes sometimes look light brown. Then again, he's wearing a brown jacket. I've noticed with friends that blue eyes sometimes seem changeable depending on the light and clothing colors.

I'm almost 6 feet tall; I'd say Dave's about 6'1"-6'2" (I think I'm leaning at an angle a little bit in the picture, so he may appear taller).

I was going to use that as a reference but that was 16 years ago. I think he's grown a little since then cause I know he is taller than me.
