Andrew - Here's hoping that someone coughs up an offer for a ride to the casino...but if worse comes to worst, it looks like you can take a public bus from Scranton. I found the schedule here: http://www.coltsbus.com/images/Routes7_ ... ohegan.pdf. I wouldn't arrive really early - unless you REALLY like to gamble - because there's not much else to do in the casino's vicinity.

Thanks LittleCrash yeah that's an option although yeah not ideal as the last bus gets there way early at 3:20pm & I was planning on spending some time looking around Scranton I see there's an old railway trip & mine tour you can do there.

Just noticed Justin's post on another thread saying the new Album is all mixed, I wonder then with this being their first headline show in a while if they might just play a new song or 2 from it, that would be a real treat!

Well I've just arrived in the States from England a few hours ago at Chicago O'hare airport, now on a bus heading to Madison, Wi & then head to Minneapolis on Friday! Look forward to a great week there before a fantastic next weekend in Pensavania!

Andrew - check out the Scranton Furnaces aka Lackawanna Iron if that is your thing. I haven't done the mine tour but that looks pretty cool too. Scranton seems to a decent enough town, as far as they go out there. Not a whole lot do do in Wilkes-Barre, but if you are into trains there is an abandoned train station you can help yourself to a tour of.

Andrew, the Radisson in Scranton is an old railroad station but you probably knew that. ;) really nice place, okay city but not too close to concert.

Hey everyone! New to the board but have been lurking. I live 20 minutes away from Wilkes Barre. Look forward to this show. I was mad that it's not GA but would never forgive myself for missing a show so close. I've never seen Soul Asylum before but I've been a fan for about 8 years. I have two seats in the 6th row (together in section 1.) I didn't want two; ticketmaster basically screwed me. If anyone wants it I can give it to you for dirt cheap.

Look forward to the show!

Hi aparkhurst7 I'm also in the 6th row section 1, what seat no's you have? Mines seat 3

Shame I've already bought a ticket else would have taken your spare, although I had been chatting to a friend from Syracuse, NY about the possibility of her going as I think she is about a 2hr drive away in Syracuse.

If your spare is still available ket me know & I'll see if I can convince her to make the drive there!

Hi Guys,
Brand new here, just found out about the forum today from DIME trying to find a recent
setlist.I guess this one is a rare headline in a while so some suspense.
The venue is really nice and sounds good.Row 1 is a ways from stage but
i dont think you can crowd the front.most seats are pretty good. section 1 and 3 are not good unless
you have aisle or 1-4 ish. the stage is about as wide as section 2. if you have a high # section 1 or 3
you will be way to the side. They have monitors but blurry.
Most of the good seats are held as comps for the big gamblers so you will probably
see a good bunch of spectators, hopefully not too chatty. If you buy the second they
go on sale, best you can get is row 4 center or 6 center for ALL shows.
There is a lot to do in WB and Scranton if you have transportation.
Andrew, not sure how you will be getting around but if you private mail me i could
give you some tips. Crobot is playing in W-B the nite before for those interested.i will be checking
that out as well.If you guys need more info, just ask.Happy to help out and meet up
with anybody interested.

Hmmm, not at all happy about what I'm reading there Luvsufo

Yes fair enough give tickets as Comps for high rollers but for GOODNESS sake why give them the best seats over the paying fans of the band, that policy just totally SUCKS as is bad for both the fans & for the band itself

I'm row 6 seat 3 so am way off to the side it sounds :(

If anyone from the band/management is reading & can somehow arrange a better seat for possibly the bands biggest English fan who is spending a month in Minnesota but spending $600 on going to this show due to their being no public shows close to Minnesota during my months stay there then I Would REALLY appreciate it!

No Andrew, your seats are fine. When you get further than 4 or 5 you get to the side.
I think you will be fine.I remember checking seat numbers in case i had to pick
section 1 or 3. You will be 2 in from isle and should be facing the stage directly, just to the left.
Remain calm.... you will like the venue..remember the reason for getting these shows is
to entice the gamblers.
