Some of you might have seen these before but I just added them to my YouTube channel
I did the best I could with the sync job - The audio is from "Welcome To The Minority"

Also forgot to mention this one before.

This is the TV version of the same show as the "Platinum Punks" bootleg CD.
The original audio for the TV version was a mix of audience and soundboard but the audio on all of the videos I've ever seen was bad in some way or another.
This video version has the audio from "Platinum Punks" bootleg which is a soundboard recording which I had to sync up to make this version.

Mike (or someone else), if it's not to much to ask do you think you can get a larger quality scan of those English lyrics for SWYW (I'm having a hard time enlarging it making the lyrics readable). I know some of them might be off, but I'd really like to see what they are and how they compare to what we got on the site. Is the whole album there, I don't see a few (Draggin Me Down, Spacehead, Masquerade, ) of them on the sheet (guess they couldn't translate some of those... neither could I). :P

If possible I'd greatly appreciate it. ;)

As always, great seeing your collection. :)

With the release of "Delayed Reaction" a few months away I thought it would be a good time to start sharing the archive a different way so everyone could enjoy some classic Soul Asylum shows.
These will be up for just 7 days at a time (new one every monday) so get'em while you can or just listen and enjoy.

First up is a show I had mentioned about a year ago:

One thing I can say about Soul Asylum, from the very first show I attended, they like to have fun onstage and if your going to be a smart ass or tell them what to do, they will be a bigger smart ass then you and not do what they were TOLD to do. It's a vibe thing for them and if you mess with it, they will mess with you, all in good fun!

Also if you ever went to a show during the " Hang Time " tour or a show at a college campus from '88-'91 they kinda ended up being a lot like wrestling matches with LOTS of drunk college kids. AAHH the old days Anyway

April 15 1988 - University of Minnesota

The show: As a concert goer and a musician I can tell you the one thing you don't want to do before, and during a show is insult the crowd and tell them you will shut the show down if you don't do what we tell you.

Before the show starts security comes onstage to tell the crowd there is no "slam dancing" at the show. 4 songs later the band is interrupted to tell the crowd " Security is on hand and They WILL turn the lights on and shut down the show if the crowd does not stop "slam dancing". Next you hear "Lunch Time" . They must have turned the lights on

As the show continues it's seems like everytime they try to stop the crowd the band ROCKS one out!
Comments from the band continue and at one point the security comes onstage again to worn again about NO slam dancing again and in proper Soul Asylum form they rip into "Long Way Home".

CLASSIC show Great set list

Is there a way to download the Dave Pirner & Dan Murphy & Friends show in full, or can you only download each song individually one by one?
