Haha, my dad had a set of cards made up with me and my brother by the exact same company, same look. This is awesome. I'm all for SA having small inexpensive items like this for sale at shows.
Somehow I haven't paid attention to this thread in a long time. Nice to see so much good stuff in here. Do you just keep searching ebay for "Soul Asylum" or do you have alerts for "Soul Asylum memorabilia" or something?
Thanks again for sharing.

So here's my collecting history/story....
For 15 years of my life (1986-2001) I worked in record stores.
Working at stores during this this time was great experience!!! It was also a time to get a lot of free stuff and learn some fun facts about the music industry and how crappy it really is. Let's just start with the fact I use to fix the charts for bands, labels and promoters in return for free stuff. This could be promo items, free tickets, and yes meeting the bands. This is a BIG eye opener when you really see how F*cked up it really is...
Charts success means NOTHING!!! it's a bunch of crap !!
I have collected and still collect other bands besides Soul Asylum and have always followed the same 3 rules of being a collector...
Patience - Persistence - Price
If you follow these rules you will be good to go.
1)You will not find everything at once
2)Gotta keep checking around all sources
3) DO NOT overpay for something....If you can.
Yes Ebay is a help but this should not and is not my main source.
Being a collector of many bands I have found many outlets from around the world that has helped me on my Soul Asylum collecting for the past 26 years?...shit!!
I check out stores in different countries, find private collections that are for sale, go to record shows and stores in the area but most of all it's patience.
It also does not hurt that many people know I'm a Soul Asylum "freak" and they let me know if they have or found something I would be interested in.
Just for listing reasons here's some of the other bands I have or still collect:
Foo Fighters
The Smiths
Echo And The Bunnymen
The Cure
Joy Division
New Order
Cocteau Twins
Dead Can Dance
Led Zeppelin
The Beatles
The Elephant 6 Collective
(which includes Olivia Tremor Control, Neutral Milk Hotel, The Music Tapes, Apples In Stereo)
And for something totally different I also collect some of the oldest recorded music from the 1880's-1920's
About 10 years ago I decided I was going for the most complete and largest collection of Soul Asylum.
I will continue to do so for as long as I can because it's still fun and I gotta say I've gotten more then I thought I ever would!!!... so I share what I can.
