Although I may be wrong, it almost seems like Dave heard his name called and just rushed out of the bathroom to the stage with his (wrinkled) coat unbuttoned, tucking in his pants, fixing his hair, and what looks like him zipping his pants and/or buckling his belt... and interrupting from him doing other things while he was in there (maybe he might have had a runny nose that day).

Looking at the video again (was too funny not to just once), he did tuck one thing in... one which definitely shouldn't be, but if he was wearing the proper attire for the occasion it wouldn't have been a problem. Check out the very first second of the video (where you can see the side of Dave, you'll see it).

I have to admit though, it does seem like a lot of older videos/interviews though he's shy of the camera and/or being in front of them makes him antsy... but he's seem to have overcome it well (as shown in later interviews).
