Joseph Arthur

I'm not sure if this belongs here or in the off-topic section, but someone asked about other bands we listen to. I think we all know who the "related bands" are, and there's not much news with them at this point, so I'm gonna drop here some stuff from other newish bands I have been listening to lately.
Starting with Joseph Arthur.
Boogie Christ - (Act 1) is one of my "desert island discs" from the last ten years or so. Since 2004 I'd say that list includes Wilco-A Ghost is Born, Neko Case - Fox Confessor Brings the Flood, The Damnwells' first two albums, Eddie Vedder-Into the Wild, and maybe one or two things by Mark Lanegan. And Boogie Christ is certainly near the top of that list.
I actually saw Joseph Arthur in 1999, as one of the openers for Three Fish, a Pearl Jam side band that included Jeff Ament, who later formed RNDM with Arthur. I honestly didn't even remember anything about him from that night. But Joseph Arthur made an impression on me when he opened for Soul Asylum at Bowery Ballroom in July 2012. His band that night included Kraig Johnson, who played bass with Arthur for a few years.
Joseph Arthur has a fairly extensive catalog, having been making music since the 1990s. But it's his albums from that last 4-5 years that appeal to me the most.
Here are some choice selections, starting with the epic finale from Boogie Christ Act 1:
