Re: Keep it up! Live USA ´93

It's just a bootleg like so many out there.

Re: Candy From A Stranger - 10 Year Anniversary

Seeing as Grave Dancers Union was supposed to be an acoustic album at first, I think it fits in more than April Fool, but I don't know... I just like the vocal melody of the verse a lot and it's a fun song.

Re: Then and Now

I always assumed that the song is about romance too. I remember reading an article online when the Silver Lining was released where Dave talks about almost every song and what it's about but I don't remember anymore if he mentions Good For You too.

Re: Candy From A Stranger - 10 Year Anniversary

Oh, i'd also argue that TSL left off some of the best songs. Freak Accident is one of the best, if not the best SA song ever. I love that one more than I like Black Star, which is really saying a lot. TSL can CFAS could have easily been double albums. So much great material has been lost in the yea...

Re: Candy From A Stranger - 10 Year Anniversary

Does anyone know why "losin' it" and the song "Candy from a Stranger" didn't make it on the album? -Jamie Also "Black Star", I believe, and no.... I don't know that. Maybe they thought that those songs didn't fit in with the other songs, but it's not the only album where they left some of the best ...

Re: Then and Now

I've noticed that the albums from the 80's, when Dave was in his early to mid twenties, are not very dark lyrically, then the ones from the 90's, when he was in his late twenties/early thirties, are much darker, and the Silver Lining, now that he is in his forties, is lyrically not very dark either....

Re: Candy From A Stranger - 10 Year Anniversary

I love this album. It might even be one of my favourites. (I'm not good at picking favourites) It's just the sound, that has been mentioned in this thread, that I don't like on every song. I can't help but feel that some songs could have sounded a whole lot better. I like the lyrics of a couple of s...
