What do you listen to apart from Soul Asylum?

Aside from the Seu Jorge album of acoustic Bowie covers that's been practically glued to my stereo for the last 6 months ('The Life Aquatic Studio Sessions'), I'm usually listening to The Delgados (and former singer Emma Pollock), Pixies, The Beatles, Placebo, Faith No More, old school R'n'B and soul (you know, the usual: Otis, Marvin, Wilson, Stevie...), Deftones, Underworld, Rival Schools, Orbital, Muse, and first couple of records from The White Stripes and those lovely emo boys My Chemical Romance, Taking Back Sunday and Brand New...
Don't worry - be money.

I have a very diverse taste, actually I'll probably give any album a chance and I'm sure I will find at least one moment during it's tracks that I really like. Specifically it pretty much mirrors Philips. I love Paul Westerberg and the Replacements, I love Uncle Tupelo, I love Soul Asylum, and thus I love all derivatives of these bands. I am into other local stuff from Minnesota and the Midwest. I'm into a lot of older music as well, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, and stuff like that.
Names of various artists:
Counting Crows
NIN
Beck
Violent Femmes
Local H
Ramones
Foo Fighters
Green Day
Jewel
Jessy Greene
really too many to mention!

XM Radio has a feature where you can select an artist/group and any time they're playing on the XM network, you can listen to them. These are the ones I currently have on that list:
The Replacements (and Paul Westerberg and Tommy Stinson stuff - I just got the "Open Season" soundtrack used and it's actually pretty good)
Husker Du (and Sugar and Bob Mould stuff and Nova Mob and Grant Hart stuff, although I haven't been keeping up with them like I used to)
Uncle Tupelo
Wilco
Golden Smog
Jayhawks
Supersuckers (I didn't see these guys on anybody's list, and I love 'em. They're like Soul Asylum in that they've got great live shows, they rock and can play a tasty cover)
Neil Young
Tegan and Sara (not really a new band, but new to me and although I don't like every song per se, but the ones I do are just awesome)
Whiskeytown
Ryan Adams
Pixies
David Bowie
Rolling Stones
Dinosaur Jr
Kiss (with makeup, thank you)
Others (you're limited to how many groups you can have on your XM list) I've listened to, seen live or purchased something from in the past 12 months or so:
Ol' Yeller (local Mpls band)
My Morning Jacket (I didn't see these guys on anybody's list either, but they're really good, too)
Queens of the Stone Age (we were lucky that they came to Duluth)
Eagles of Death Metal
Run Westy Run (these guys used to be so great live, and I miss 'em)
Marah
Van Morrison
Silversun Pickups
Prince
The Hold Steady (great, great, great, great - great new album, great show at the State theatre)
Ramones
The Donnas
Gram Parsons
Blue Mountain
TV on the Radio
Flaming Lips (I saw them at Myth or the Myth or whatever it is in Maplewood. I wasn't really feeling the $7 or whatever for half a plastic cup's worth of Guiness, but the Lips I will see anytime anyplace anywhere.)

My Bands
Soul Asylum is one of the most recent bands I listen to, the rest are mostly classic rock.
Pink Floyd (This band has changed my life)
The Beatles (A bit overrated but nonetheless one of the best)
Blink 182 (The one I'll get crap for)
The Ramones (Simple but fun)
Cheap Trick (When I heard Soul Asylum was opening for them in New York I was so mad that I couldn't go up there)
AC/DC (This is the music when I need to turn off my brain)
